Scholarships
In addition to scholarship opportunities through participation in OI-sponsored programs (Essay and Oratorical contests), the Timonium Optimist Club gives scholarship money each spring to deserving local high school seniors who plan to continue their education after graduation. These scholarships are awarded on a combination of achievement and need.
Scholarships for 2008
This year, the Timonium Optimist Club will award $1,500 in scholarship money. The Board of Directors will review applications and decide how that amount will be divided.
