Scholarships
In addition to scholarship opportunities through participation in OI-sponsored programs (Essay and Oratorical contests), the Timonium Optimist Club gives scholarship money each spring to deserving local high school seniors who plan to continue their education after graduation. These scholarships are awarded on a combination of achievement and need.
Scholarships for 2011
This year, the Timonium Optimist Club expects to award $2,000 in scholarship money. The Board of Directors will review applications and decide how that amount will be divided.
Students graduating in spring 2011 who plan to attend an institution of higher learning the following school year are invited to apply.
Deadline for applying: April 1, 2011
